» $501K spent on legal services for 2024-2025 school year

» Voted 4-0 to re-open the “prayer lawsuit” that cost the school district over $350,000 during James Na and Andrew Cruz’s tenure. Right-wing evangelical law firm, Advocates for Faith & Freedom, representing CVUSD.

» Advocates for Faith & Freedom contract calls for CVUSD to pay court costs and fees, and will require the district to pay for legal services if they don’t exhaust all appeals (see school board agenda on December 19, 2024).

» President Sonja Shaw blames "the state" for Edison power outages and spreads disinformation about proposed policies affecting water heaters and furnaces, which only apply when appliances are voluntarily replaced or existing appliances break in 2-5 years.

The next school board meeting will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 6PM at the CVUSD district office on 13461 Ramona Ave., Chino, CA 91710
