Four CVUSD Schools Named 2025 California Distinguished Schools

Congratulations to Country Springs Elementary, Butterfield Ranch Elementary, Eagle Canyon Elementary and Lyle S. Brings Elementary for being named 2025 California Distinguished Schools!

The Chino Valley Unified schools were included in a list released March 25 by State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond, recognizing 336 elementary schools across California for closing the achievement gap and demonstrating exceptional student performance.

Since its inception in 1985, the California Distinguished Schools Award remains one of the state’s most important ways to celebrate exceptional schools, districts, teachers and classified employees for their innovation, talent, and success in supporting students, according to a California Department of Education press release.
